Eating acidic foods e.g. vinegar, is supposed to make your body more basic, which makes it less susceptible to colds. Apple cider vinegar, when diluted, tastes like...well...apples. I like to drink diluted ACV straight, without sweetener, but when I'm craving something sweet, I add 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp agave nectar or honey to it.

Recipe Ingredients for Hunger-killer apple juice

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp honey
1 1/2 cups water

Recipe Directions for Hunger-killer apple juice

  1. Measure apple cider vinegar.

  2. Pour in 1 Tablespoon of ACV into a mug or a cup. Don't use too much vinegar because it can be overpowering, as well as damage your teeth.

  3. Measure the sweetener.

  4. Pour in 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp of sweetener (i use agave nectar but CC didn't recognize it. You can use honey, maple syrup, or sugar. I don't like to use sugar though because there's no nutritional value to it.)

  5. Pour in 1 cup (8oz) of water.

  6. Mix.

  7. If there's still room in the cup for it, add another 1/2 cup, and stir.

  8. This can be served cold or warm.

  9. Don't strain through teeth when drinking. Seriously.
