A delicious stew for use with dumplings

Recipe Ingredients for Hungarian Goulash

1 Onion, Medium Yellow
1 1/2 lb Beef, Stew Lean
2 tbsp Flour
3 tbsp Paprika

Recipe Directions for Hungarian Goulash

  1. Coarsely dice onion and brown in 2 qt pot.

  2. Cut stew beef into 1/4" thick, 1" squares.

  3. Add beef to onion. Stir until beef lightly browns.

  4. Add paprika and stir until blended.

  5. Simmer aprox, 1/2 hour, stirring to keep from burning, until beef is tender.

  6. Add flour to thicken, stirring to prevent lumping.

  7. Serve over dumplings.
