Beef stew cooked with onions and paprika

Recipe Ingredients for Hungarian Goulash

1 3/4 pounds beef stew, cubes
2 onions, diced
2 cups water
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp caraway seeds

Recipe Directions for Hungarian Goulash

  1. Cook onions until clear, set aside.

  2. Cook beef 30 min. until juices are gone and slightly browned sides.

  3. Add water, paprika, onions, caraway seeds, pepper, salt.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours until beef is tender.

  5. Serve with egg noodles.
