Arabic dip use with pita bread and veggies(purple onion is very good. you may also use baked crackers.

Recipe Ingredients for hummus

8 oz dry chickpeas
3 T tahini
1/4 c lemon juice
1 clove garlic
1/8 t cumin
1/8 t kosher salt
1/4 c olive oil
1/2 jalapeno pepper,diced

Recipe Directions for hummus

cook peas until tender,allow to cool. drain,save water. put into blender cover peas with saved water and blend until smooth.add rest of ingredients and blend until smooth, add water as need for a medium consistency before serving sprinkle smoked paprika on top. garnish with fresh parsley
