Recipe Ingredients for Hummus

2 c chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 tbsp tahini (add more to taste)
1/4 c lemon juice (fresh)
1 tsp salt
2 cloves garlic, halved
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp paprika
1 tsp parsley, minced

Recipe Directions for Hummus

  1. Place garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice, salt, and garlic in blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.

  2. Transfer mixture to a serving bowl. Drizzle olive oil over the mixture. Sprinkle with paprika and parsley.

  3. Serve with pita bread or pita chips.
