Homemade hummus dip make with chickpeas and tahini

Recipe Ingredients for Hummus

2 cloves Garlic
1 cup Lemon Juice
1 cup Water
14 ounces Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram), Mature Seeds
1 cup Sesame Butter, Tahini, From Roasted And Toasted Kernels (Most Common Type)

Recipe Directions for Hummus

  1. 1.Blend in food processor.

  2. 2.To make tahini -

  3. 3.2 Tbsp sesame seeds

  4. 4.1/2 tsp sesame oil

  5. 5.1/4 tsp salt

  6. 6.1/4 cup water, tepid

  7. 7.Grind seeds until smooth. Add oil, salt, and then slowly add 1/4 cup of water while blending. Blend until completely smooth.
