A wonderful dip for vegetables, condiment for salad, or spread for toast.

Recipe Ingredients for Hummus

15 ounces chickpeas, canned
1/2 cup tahini
1/4 cup oil, olive, extra virgin
1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon pepper, black
1/2 tablespoon salt
1/3 cup water

Recipe Directions for Hummus

  1. Chop the garlic.

  2. Drain the chickpeas.

  3. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend on high until creamy.

  4. For a thicker spread, use less water.
