Recipe Ingredients for hummus homemade

31 oz Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram), Mature Seeds, Canned
2 tbsp Organic Tahini Butter - No Salt (Raw)
0.5 serving trader joe's greek style nonfat plain yogurt
3 serving lemon juice (Italian Volcano)
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 cloves, raw Garlic
0.75 tsp Sea Salt
0.5 tsp Cumin Seed

Recipe Directions for hummus homemade

  1. using 2 x 14.5 oz cans chick peas

  2. Into food processor put drained chick peas,

  3. 3 cloves minced garlic

  4. 2 Tbs tahini

  5. 3 Tbs olive oil

  6. 1/2 c nonfat Greek style plain yogurt

  7. 6 tbs lemon juice

  8. 1/2 tsp fresh ground cumin

  9. 1/2 - 1 tsp salt

  10. Blend until smooth adding reserved water from canned peas if needed.

  11. Other additions as desired: more garlic, more lemon juice, canned red peppers, etc.
