Less fat, less calories per serving than first version

Recipe Ingredients for Hummus (2)

15 oz Garbanzos
3 tbl tahini paste
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, small, chopped
4 tbl lemon juice
1 tbl olive oil
1 teaspoon Cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoon Sea Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper, Black
1 ounce Cilantro
4 ounces green chili, diced

Recipe Directions for Hummus (2)

  1. Heat oil over medium heat

  2. Add onions and saute until tender, 2 minutes

  3. Add garlic and saute another 2 minutes and then remove from heat

  4. Drain beans in can and add to food processor

  5. Add all ingredients except the chili to the food processor and puree until smooth

  6. Add chili and puree until just mixed

  7. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving
