Closest I've gotten to real hummus.

Recipe Ingredients for Hummus #1

1.5 cup Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram), Mature Seeds
3 tbsp Sesame Butter, Tahini, From Roasted And Toasted Kernels (Most Common Type)
5 clove Garlic
0.35 cup Olive Oil
1 tsp Cumin
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
0.2 cup Lemon Juice

Recipe Directions for Hummus #1

  1. Soak chickpeas 12 hours

  2. Cook chickpeas with 1/2 tsp baking soda 2 hours ( or skip soak and use slow cooker on high for 1 hour and 7-8 more on low )

  3. Blend chickpeas with 1/4 ish water and lemon juice add cumin and salt blend

  4. Mince garlic, add minced to chickpeas and blend

  5. Last add olive oil slowly because it needs to sort of emulsify
