Low Cal Hummus- I added Honey, can leave out if don't like. Serve on Pita Chips, Tomatoes, Other Veggies, etc.

Recipe Ingredients for Hummus (1.1 Cal/gm)

3 cups chick peas
1/2 cup water
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp tahini
1 1/2 tsp cumin
4 cloves garlic
1/8 tsp salt
2 tbsp cilantro (fresh)
1 tsp Honey

Recipe Directions for Hummus (1.1 Cal/gm)

  1. 3 cups chick peas

  2. 1/2 cup water

  3. 3 tbsp lemon juice

  4. 1 tbsp tahini

  5. 1 1/2 tsp cumin

  6. 4 cloves garlic

  7. 1 /8 tsp salt

  8. 2 tbsp cilantro (fresh)

  9. 1 Place chickpeas, water, lime juice, tahini, cumin and garlic in food processor

  10. 2. Process for 4 minutes or until very smooth

  11. 3. Add an extra tablespoon or two of water if needed

  12. 4. Transfer to a bowl

  13. 5. Stir in Fresh cilantro
