A quick yummy German meal. Usually served with rice.

Recipe Ingredients for Huehnerfrikase

1 pound boneless chicken breast
400 grams white asparagus (from jar)
3 tbsp butter
100 grams flour
2 bouillon cubes
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Huehnerfrikase

  1. wash the chicken, then boil in salt water with bouillon until cooked all the way through.

  2. save the water of the chicken for the sauce and take the chicken out and cut into small pieces.

  3. in same pot, melt butter and add flour. stir and slowly add chicken water to make sauce. Stop adding water when the desired thickness is reached.

  4. Add chicken and pieces of asparagus, let the whole thing sit for 5 minutes.

  5. Serve by itself or with rice.
