A pasta salad served cold for nice hot summer nights.

Recipe Ingredients for House of Bushido's Chicken Fruit Pasta Salad

6 cups macaroni
1/4 cup olive oil
1 dash of salt
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 cup minced mushrooms
2 chicken breast
1 tbsp butter
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp minced garlic
3 medium tomatoes
1 nectarine
1 peach
2 apples
1/2 cup chopped walnut
2 tbsp margarine
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 lb raw spinach
1 head of romaine lettuce
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
3 tbsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for House of Bushido's Chicken Fruit Pasta Salad

  1. Boil 6 cups of pasta with 1/4 cup olive oil and 9 3/4 cup water.

  2. Add 1 tsp minced garlic to pasta.

  3. Defrost 2 chicken breasts.

  4. Mix 1 tsp of minced garlic with minced mushrooms.

  5. Saute with 1 tbsp butter, 3 tbsp balsamic, 1 tsp minced garlic and 1 cup minced mushrooms.

  6. Chop 3 tomatoes, 1 nectarine, 1 peach, and 2 apples. Set off to side in separate bowl.

  7. Add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts to saute of chicken.

  8. Once pasta is soft, drain and then rinse with cool water to cool down the pasta.

  9. Add chicken saute mix and stir well.

  10. Put 2 tbsp of margarine and 2 tbsp of sugar in pan and pour fruit mixture.

  11. Saute on medium for about 10 minutes.

  12. Then take off heat for 5 minutes.

  13. Add 1/4 pound of spinach to pasta and chicken saute. Mix well.

  14. Chop up 1 head of romaine lettuce and add to pasta and chicken saute.

  15. Mix 2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar and mix with 3 tbsp of olive oil.

  16. Pour over pasta salad.

  17. Add caramelized fruit on top and mix well.

  18. Serve.
