Really yummy and relatively healthy dessert. Serve with real vanilla ice cream (like Carte D'Or - a decent one) or creme fraiche, or low fat Greek yoghurt.

Recipe Ingredients for Hot Tropical Fruit

570 g pineapple, chopped
130 g mango, chopped
2 medium bananas
1 tbsp mixed spice
3 tbsp light brown sugar
20 g lime juice

Recipe Directions for Hot Tropical Fruit

  1. Chop all fruit and mix together on baking tray

  2. Spread out - doesn't matter if in more than one layer

  3. Sprinkle over the lime juice, then the mixed spice, then the brown sugar

  4. Bake at 180 for 15-20 minutes

  5. Can serve more than three if desired, particularly if served with something like ice cream
