High nutrition, high protein, low sodium chili

Recipe Ingredients for Hot Stuff

2 lbs lean ground beef
1 large onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
3 jalapeno peppers, diced
8 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup parsley
1 1/2 tsp cumin
1/3 cup red chili powder
30 ounce low sodium beef broth
14 ounce chili beans
14 ounce kidney beans
28 ounce tomatoes, crushed

Recipe Directions for Hot Stuff

  1. In a large stock pot, cook the beef, onion, peppers, garlic and parsley until beef is no longer pink.

  2. Add chili powder and cumin and cook for another 2 minutes.

  3. Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 90 minutes.
