Hot, spicy, garlic shrimp served over spinach.

Recipe Ingredients for Hot, spicy, garlic shrimp served over spinach.

10 oz fresh spinach, 10 oz. package
6 tbsp garlic cloves, crushed
1 pinch salt and pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 pinch hot red pepper flakes
3/4 lb raw medium shrimp, peeled
2 tbsp chopped parsley

Recipe Directions for Hot, spicy, garlic shrimp served over spinach.

  1. 1 Rinse spinach and steam with the water clinging to the leaves. Cook until wilted and divide between 2 plates.

  2. 2 Heat a medium skillet on medium-high heat.

  3. 3 Add olive oil, garlic, and chili flakes. Saute for one minute.

  4. 4 Add shrimp toss in oil for 2-3 minutes or until shrimp are no longer translucent.

  5. 5 Remove from heat and sprinkle with parsley and salt and pepper to taste.

  6. 6 Spoon over spinach including pan juices.
