Better than the Chinese restaurant. This soup is almost like medicine to me. :)

Recipe Ingredients for Hot & Sour Soup

8 cups Water
2 tbsp. Beef Bouillon
8 oz sliced fresh mushrooms
8 oz sliced Baby Bella mushrooms
1 oz dried shiitake mushrooms
5 scallions, chopped
2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
18 oz tofu, extra firm cubed
1 egg

Recipe Directions for Hot & Sour Soup

  1. Soak dried mushrooms in water until soft, drain and add to remaining ingredients except egg.Simmer for approx. 30 minutes. Season to your liking. Slowly pour raw scrambled egg into broth, stirring entire time.

  2. OPTIONAL: thinly slice bamboo shoots, carrots, pork, etc.
