Not that great, but gets me through PMS. Better with strawberries on top.

Recipe Ingredients for Hot Milk Sponge Cake

2 Egg Whites
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking powder
1 cup SPLENDA no calorie
2/3 cup 2% milk
2 tbsp light butter

Recipe Directions for Hot Milk Sponge Cake

  1. Let eggs cool to room temperature.

  2. In one bowl blend flour and baking powder, set aside.

  3. In another bowl beat eggs for 4 minutes or until thick. Slowly mix in splenda. Beat for 4-5 minutes. Add in flour mixture and beat until mixed.

  4. In small saucepan add milk and butter. Heat until butter is melted and mix with other ingredients. Beat until well blended. Add Vanilla. Place in greased and floured 8x8x2 pan and bake for 20-25 minutes at 350.
