Sponge cake with whole wheat flour and chocolate covering

Recipe Ingredients for Hot milk sponge cake

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
2 ounces dark chocolate
2 ounces white chocolate

Recipe Directions for Hot milk sponge cake

  1. Grease 9x9x2 baking pan

  2. Stir flour and baking pweder

  3. Beat eggs on high speed about 4 minutes, gradually add sugar beating 4-5 min till light and fluffy. Add dry mixture beat on low until combined

  4. In saucepan heat milk and butter until butter melts, add to batter, beating till combined

  5. Pour batter into prepared pan

  6. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes, cool on wire rack

  7. Put dark and white chocolate into plastic bag and microwave until melted. Spread chocolate onto top of cake, let cool.
