Each serving is about 1-1/2 T. It is very rich and potent with chocolate flavor!

Recipe Ingredients for Hot Fudge Sauce

1 c heavy cream
4 T unsalted butter
2/3 c dark brown sugar
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c light corn syrup
1 c unsweetened cocoa powder, Dutch
1 salt
6 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped
2 t vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for Hot Fudge Sauce

  1. Bring cream and butter to boil in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Add sugars and corn syrup, and heat, stirring, until sugars dissolve. Whisk in cocoa powder and 1/2 t salt. Add chocolate, and stir until melted. Stir in vanilla. Use immediately, or keep warm in a double boiler or a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Serve hot fudge over vanilla ice cream.

  2. Sauce can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Warm before using.
