Recipe Ingredients for Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
6 tbs cocoa, divided
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
2 tbs vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 3/4 cup hot water

Recipe Directions for Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

  1. In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, two tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk, oil, and vanilla just until smooth. Spread mixture in an ungreased 9-inch square baking pan.

  2. Combine brown sugar and remaining four tablespoons cocoa; sprinkle over batter in pan. Pour hot water over all; do not stir.

  3. Bake at 350 F for 35-40 minutes. Serve warm, with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
