Tossed garlic sauteed collard greens with tangy mustard vinaigrette to make this dish

Recipe Ingredients for Hot Collard Slaw

1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 tablespoon garlic
16 cups collard greens
1/2 pound turkey bacon

Recipe Directions for Hot Collard Slaw

  1. in a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons olive oil, vinegar, mustard, salt, crushed red pepper and set aside.

  2. in a large saucepan over medium high heat, heat remaining olive oil. add garlic and the greens and saute until tender -- 5 to 6 minutes.

  3. add the vinegar mixture and toss to distribute evenly.

  4. transfer to a serving dish, top with bacon pieces, and serve immediately.
