Recipe Ingredients for Honey Whole Wheat Bread

3 tbsp yeast
5 cups water, divided
1 cup honey
4 tbsp sugar
6 tbsp walnut oil
8 cups white flour
7 cups whole wheat flour

Recipe Directions for Honey Whole Wheat Bread

Beat yeast, 4 cups warm water, sugar, salt and white flour until smooth. Let rise until double, While mixture is rising, put honey, 1 cup hot water and oil in a separate pan until ready to use, then add to the bread mixture. Mix well, then gradually add the 7 cups whole wheat flour. Let dough rise until double. Knead 10 minutes. Shape into 6 medium loaves. Let rise in pans until double. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes.
