5 whole cloves 2 green cardamom pods 1 4 inch stick cinnamon These are the measurements for the spices.

Recipe Ingredients for honey preserved clementines

1 cup honey
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp cloves
2 tsp cardamom
2 tbsp cinnamon
1 1/4 pound clementines

Recipe Directions for honey preserved clementines

Bring to boil everything except clementines. Cut them into 3/4 inch slices add to boiling syrup and bring to boil again. Then simmer for 10 min. let stand for 8-12 hours or overnight. Gently remove slices to quart size jar. Bring syrup to boil for 3 miniutes. Add to slices and let cool to room temp. Seal and refrigerate up to 3 mos. Compliments of Fine Cooking magazine.
