Recipe Ingredients for Honey and Pear Pudding

230 g pears
2 eggs
25 g brown sugar
25 g clear honey
50 g flour
1/2 teaspoon mixed spice

Recipe Directions for Honey and Pear Pudding

  1. Use a 410g pears canned in natural juice and drain them. Place the pears in an ovenproof dish.

  2. Whisk together eggs, sugar and honey until thick and creamy.

  3. Fold in flour and spice, then pour over the pears.

  4. Bake at 180c (350f) Gas Mark 4 for 40 minutes or until risen and firm to the touch.

  5. Serve hot - best with custard.
