Recipe Ingredients for Honey Nut Stir Fry

24 oz Pork, Fresh, Loin, Sirloin (Chops), Boneless
8 fl oz Orange Juice Calcium Vitamin D
0.33 cup Honey, Strained Or Extracted
4.5 tbsp Soy Sauce
1.5 tbsp Cornstarch
0.33 tsp Ginger, Ground
2 tsp Oil, vegetable
3 carrot (7-1/2") Carrots
3 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery
0.75 cup, halves and whole Cashew Nuts, Dry Roasted
2 cup Rice, Brown, Long-grain, Cooked

Recipe Directions for Honey Nut Stir Fry

  1. COOK THE RICE FIRST!! 45 MIN FOR BROWN RICE.

  2. While rice is cooking - cut up meat (pork or chicken).

  3. Cut pork into thin strips; set aside. Combine orange juice, honey, soy sauce, cornstarch and ginger in small bowl; mix well. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add carrots and celery; stir-fry about 3 minutes. Remove vegetables; set aside. Pour remaining 1 tablespoon oil into skillet. Add meat; stir-fry about 3 minutes. Return vegetables to skillet; add sauce mixture and nuts. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until sauce comes to a boil and thickens. Serve over rice.

  4. Makes 4-6 servings
