Figs stuffed with goat cheese and honey are a festive appetizer for the fall, or served on a salad.

Recipe Ingredients for Honey Glazed Figs Stuffed with Goat Cheese

2 pints figs (fresh)
2 tablespoons honey
8 ounces goat cheese

Recipe Directions for Honey Glazed Figs Stuffed with Goat Cheese

  1. Place goat cheese in freezer for 15-30 minutes before you?re ready to slice it. This will make the cheese easier to handle.

  2. Preheat oven to 500 or turn on broiler.

  3. Wash figs well and pat dry with paper towel.

  4. Slice figs in half, lengthwise.

  5. Slice quarter inch to half inch thick slices of goat cheese and place one slice of cheese on top of each fig.

  6. Drizzle the honey on top of the figs and cheese.

  7. Place figs into oven or broiler for 3-5 minutes, until the cheese has melted just a bit.

  8. Serve on a festive serving tray as a finger food.
