Recipe Ingredients for Honey Gingerbread Cookies

0.5 cup Sugars, Granulated
3 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt, Table
2 tsp Ginger, Ground
2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.5 tsp Cloves, Ground
0.5 tsp Nutmeg, Ground
226.8 grams Margarine
0.5 cup Honey, Strained Or Extracted

Recipe Directions for Honey Gingerbread Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a ln a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Cut margarine into small pieces and knead it together in bowl until thoroughly blended. Add honey and mix thoroughly.

  2. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour. On a floured board or between sheets of wax paper, roll out dough about 1/8" thick. Cut into shapes using cookie cutters or tracings of Pooh from the books.

  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes on a cookie sheet in a preheated oven.

  4. Loosen cookies from sheet immediately with a spatula and allow to cool.
