Yummy honey crunchy :) 7.22.08 IDEA: Make a half batch exactly as-is here, and another half batch replacing butter w/ creamy PB (recipe gets an A with PB).

Recipe Ingredients for Honey Crunch

1/4 c. honey
1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. fiber one, honey clusters
2 c. cheerios
1 c. peanuts, dry roasted

Recipe Directions for Honey Crunch

  1. ***Use 4 cups Fiber One Honey Clusters. The Cheerios are just there for the nutrition data.***

  2. Combine honey, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon in 2-quart glass mix 'n pour bowl.

  3. Microwave on high, uncovered 4 to 4 1/2 minutes or until mixture boils 2 minutes, stirring once.

  4. Stir in vanilla, cereal and peanuts. Drop by spoonsful onto waxed paper. Cool until set. Break into pieces.
