Easy and delicious for the New Year!

Recipe Ingredients for Honey Cake

3 eggs
1/2 c sugar
2 c honey
1/2 c strong coffee
1/2 c vegetable oil
3 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp allspice
2 1/2 golden raisins
1/2 c walnut halves

Recipe Directions for Honey Cake

  1. Beat eggs and combine with sugar

  2. Continue beating and add coffee, honey & oil

  3. Combine all dry ingredients, excepts raisins & walnuts on wax paper.

  4. Slowly add to the egg mixture

  5. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 pan.

  6. Sprinkle raisins over the top and add walnut halves decoratively.

  7. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 1/4 hours or until a toothpick comes out clean.
