1 head red cabbage
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons honey
1 green apple
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Honey Braised Red Cabbage

  1. remove core

  2. cook 1 small onion in butter - heat 3 minutes

  3. add cut up apple and sliced thin cabbage for 5 minutes

  4. add vinegar and honey mix and cook/cover for 20 minutes
