Recipe Ingredients for Honey Blueberry Scones

375 grams Stone Ground 100% Wholemeal Plain Flour
6 tsp Baking Powder
75 grams Butter
1 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
1/4 tsp Salt, Table
1 tbsp Pure US Grade A Clover Honey
1 cup Blueberries

Recipe Directions for Honey Blueberry Scones

  1. Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl.

  2. Cut in butter until it resembles fine breadcrumbs.

  3. Add milk and mix quickly with a knife to a soft dough. Add blueberries and honey at this time.

  4. Knead a few times.

  5. Lightly dust an oven tray with flour

  6. Press scone dough out onto this and cut into 12 even sized pieces.

  7. Bake at 220 degrees C for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
