Recipe Ingredients for Hometown Turkey Meatloaf

2 tablespoons ketchup
8 oz can tomato sauce, divided
3 teaspoons canola oil, divided
1 pound lean ground turkey
3/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 egg
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup quick cooking oats

Recipe Directions for Hometown Turkey Meatloaf

  1. 1. Preheat over to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil.

  2. 2. Combine ketchup, 2 Tablespoons tomato sauce and 1 teaspoon canola oil in a small bowl and set aside.

  3. 3. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl. On a baking sheet, shape turkey mixture into four individual mealoaf ovals, about 3x4 1/2 in. Bake 30 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted into thicket part of meatloaf registers 165 degrees F. Remove from oven. Using the back of a spoon, evenly spread the mixed sauce over the top and sides. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
