Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Yogurt

4 cups 2% milk
1/3 cup non-fat powdered milk
1/4 cup low-fat yogurt
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons vanilla

Recipe Directions for Homemade Yogurt

Place cold milk in top of double boiler and stir in dry milk powder. Add honey and vanilla, if desired. Heat to 200, stirring gently. Hold for 20 minutes at this temp. Cool using a pan filled with cold water to 110-115. Add ready-made yogurt, mix, and place in yogurt jars. Incubate for 7 hours. Refrigerate immediately.
