Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Whole Wheat Lasagna Recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Whole Wheat Lasagna

1 lb. lean ground beef
3 cups tomato sauce
1 1/2 cup water
1 3/4 cup ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
7 ounces whole wheat lasagna

Recipe Directions for Homemade Whole Wheat Lasagna

  1. Heat over to 350 degree.

  2. Brown hamburger and drain.

  3. Simmer hamburger, water and sauce for 10 minutes.

  4. In seperate bowl mix together ricotta cheese, eggs, salt, pepper, half of the mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.

  5. Put 1 cup of sauce into a 13x9 baking dish. Layer 3 uncooked pieces of lasagna. Cover with another cup of sauce. Spread half the cheese mixture over sauce. Layer 3 more pieces of lasagna. Cover with sauce and rest of cheese mixture. Put 3 more pieces of lasagna and cover with remaining sauce.

  6. Cover with foil. Bake for 45 minutes.

  7. Remove foil and put remaining mozzarella cheese on top and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

  8. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
