My homemade vegetarian spaghetti sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade veggie spaghetti sauce

84 oz canned crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup red wine
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
6 cloves garlic
1 small onion
1 sprig parsley
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried sweet basil

Recipe Directions for Homemade veggie spaghetti sauce

  1. place crushed tomatoes in large, seep soup pan. Add chopped onion, garlic, parsley.

  2. Add olive oil and wine. Add herbs. Stir and bring to a boil over high heat. After it boils, lower heat and simmer covered for an hour.

  3. Each serving is 3/4 cup
