Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Veggie Noodle Soup

4 cups water
4 cups broth
1 1/2 cup chicken soup mix
2 cups carrots, chopped
2 cups celery, chopped
1 cup green beans
1/2 cup corn
1/2 cup cooked noodles

Recipe Directions for Homemade Veggie Noodle Soup

  1. In a large soup pot, combine water, broth (Campbell's chicken or vegetable broth) and dry soup mix. Add a couple bay leaves for flavour and bring to a boil.

  2. Add chopped carrot, celery, beans and corn. Return to boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

  3. Once vegetables are soft, remove bay leaves from soup. Add noodles (broken spaghetti works well). Simmer until noodles are al dente. Season with salt and pepper if desired.
