Recipe Ingredients for Homemade vegetarian chilil

1 cup red peppers
1 cup shitake mushrooms
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
1 lg sweet potatoe, chopped
28 oz diced tomatoes
28 oz tomato sauce
15 oz kidney beans
15 oz Pinto Beans
4 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. basil

Recipe Directions for Homemade vegetarian chilil

  1. Fry hamburger w/ onions and green peppers until brown.

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer until sweet potatoes are soft.

  3. Serve with additional chopped onions and a little shredded colby/jack cheese on top. OPTIONAL
