Made with vegetable broth and turkey broth.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade veg. Soup

4 cups vegetable broth, no salt
3 cups turkey broth, no salt
3 large carrots, sliced
2 cups celery, chopped
1/4 cups of tomato, chopped
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1/4 cups of navy beans, dry measure
1/4 cups of lentils, dry measure

Recipe Directions for Homemade veg. Soup

Put all of the broth and the vegetables into a crock pot. Set on High. Bring the beans and the lentils to a boil, remove from heat and stir in about 1/2 tsp of baking soda. It will foam up. Pour into colunder and rinse well then add to the crock pot. Let it cook. Better the 2nd day.
