16 cups soup, stock, chicken homeade
4 cups parsnip
2 cups turnip greens
6 cups turkey
1/2 cup barley, hulled
20 brussels sprouts
2 cups red cabbage

Recipe Directions for Homemade turkey soup

  1. make stock by boiling turkey carcass and bones for 4 hours.

  2. cool stock for several hours and scrape off fat.

  3. Add barley and parsnips to broth and boil for an hour.
