Made from the leftover turkey carcass after Thanksgiving.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Turkey Soup

14 cups water, made into a broth with a turkey carcass
1 tbsp poultry seasoning
3 cloves garlic
4 cups sliced carrots
1 large onion, chopped
1 1/2 cup chopped celery
6 cups cooked turkey
14 oz Whole Wheat Pasta

Recipe Directions for Homemade Turkey Soup

  1. Place the whole carcass of the turkey in the water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hrs.

  2. Strain out all of the bones from the broth.

  3. Add all ingredients except pasta to the broth, simmer for 2 hrs.

  4. Add pasta and boil until pasta is cooked.

  5. Add salt and pepper as desired.
