Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Thai Peanut Sauce

1 cup peanut butter, natural
1 cup water, hot
1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp cumin
1/8 tsp curry powder
1/8 tsp ginger powder
8 ounces coconut milk

Recipe Directions for Homemade Thai Peanut Sauce

In a small saucepan, whisk together peanut butter and water over low heat. Stir in rest of ingredients. Heat through, but do not simmer or boil; cooking can cause the sauce to curdle. Sauce will thicken. Remove from heat and serve.
