Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Spanish Rice by Bubbasgirl

4 cups Rice, Brown, Medium-grain, cooked
1 1/2 pounds (3 portions) Beef, ground, 95%lean/5%fat Crumbles, Cooked, Pan- Browned [23560&size=2]
29 ounces Tomato Sauce, Canned
1 pepper, large, sweet, yellow, raw
1 onion (yellow), medium, raw

Recipe Directions for Homemade Spanish Rice by Bubbasgirl

  1. Cook brown rice according to package directions, but leave out the butter & salt.

  2. Seed and chop one large bell pepper.

  3. Peel and chop one medium yellow onion.

  4. Brown the ground beef, being sure to drain it well.

  5. When rice is done, stir in tomato sauce.

  6. Add all other ingredients to rice. Stir, heat through and serve.
