My attempt at bringing down sodium levels compared to jar spaghetti sauce at the grocery store.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

48 oz tomatos, crushed, canned
2 1/2 cups tomato sauce
3 cloves garlic
3 tbsp italian seasoning
1 tbsp onion powder
1 can tomato paste
1 tbsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet

  2. Press garlic and sautee in oil

  3. Add one can of crushed tomatos & simmer

  4. Move to crock pot and add all remaining ingredients

  5. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Add meat as desired.
