Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Spaghetti sauce

28 oz diced tomatoes
28 oz whole tomatoes
6 oz tomato paste
1 lb lean ground beef
1 T olive oil
2 anchovy fillets
1/2 onion
2 cloves garlic
1 T parsley
1 T sage
1 T oregano
2 T italian seasoning

Recipe Directions for Homemade Spaghetti sauce

  1. dice onions

  2. grate garlic

  3. dissolve anchovies in oil

  4. add meat and brown

  5. add onions and cook till translucent

  6. add garlic when onions are almost done

  7. stir in cans of tomato paste, whole and diced tomatoes

  8. add all spices

  9. simmer 20 minutes or more

  10. serve over spaghetti, pasta or spaghetti squash
