Whole wheat spaghetti with meat sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade spaghetti

26 oz whole wheat spaghetti
15 oz tomato sauce
12 oz tomato paste
12 oz tomatos
1 cups diced mushrooms
1 cups chopped onion
2 tbsp minced garlic
3 1/2 tsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 lb lean ground beef
2 tbsp salt
1 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Homemade spaghetti

  1. Cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions

  2. Saute the onions, mushrooms, and garlic

  3. Add in the ground beef and green peppers to the sauteing vegetables - brown the meat

  4. In a sauce pan pour in the sauce, tomatos, and paste with 8 oz of water

  5. Add the beef mixture to the sauce

  6. Add the sugar and cinnamon to the sauce and season to taste

  7. Let sauce simmer for about 15 minutes

  8. Mix the sauce and spaghetti and serve
