It's basically spaghetti, just different noodles. You can add a little salt for more flavor, but I have no salt left and I'm trying to watch my sodium intake.

16 oz tomato sauce
24 oz hunts spaghetti sauce
2 lbs lean hamburger
3 tbs garlic powder
2 tbs onion powder
2 tsp crushed red pepper
1 tsp thyme
1 lbs elbow macaroni

Recipe Directions for Homemade Spaghetti Hotdish

  1. Brown hamburger

  2. Add sauces and seasonings to hamburger

  3. Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes

  4. Cook macaroni as directed on package

  5. Combine cooked macaroni with the sauce
