Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

3 serving Westbrae Organic Garbanzo Beans correct
3 tbsp Sesame Oil, Organic
2 tbsp Oil Olive Extra Virgin
0.5 fruit (2-1/8" dia) Lemons
2 clove Garlic
1 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Red
1 pepper Peppers, Jalapeno

Recipe Directions for Homemade Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

  1. Begin by roasting the red pepper under your broiler. Sweat it and remove the skin and seeds.

  2. While sweating the pepper, drain 1 15oz can garbanzo beans and cut two medium-large cloves of garlic and 1/2 lemon. I sometimes use the peel but it gives the hummus a coarser texture.

  3. Add all ingredients to food processor and pulse until blended to desired texture.
