Recipe Ingredients for Homemade rice pudding

2 cups water
1 dash of salt
1 cup long grain rice
2 cups 1% low fat milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 t. vanilla
1 t. cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Homemade rice pudding

  1. bring water to a boil. Add dash of salt and rice. Cook 20 minutes until liquid is absorbed.

  2. Add milk and simmer until most of the milk is absorbed. Add sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Continue to cook until desired consistency
