Homemade American style rice pudding.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Rice Pudding

1 cup rice
2 cups water
4 cups skim milk
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe Directions for Homemade Rice Pudding

Cook rice in water as usual. Add milk and sugar then cook over medium heat 30 minutes or until creamy. Finish with vanilla. Put in individual serving dishes or a large bowl. COver tightly with wrap (touching surface) to prevent skin forming. Serve warm or cold.
